By universal medical terminology, I mean, unanimously accepted medical nomenclature,
given to the various sets of signs and symptoms, which can be diagnosed and evaluated by
various clinical and laboratory investigations. This not only reduces the huge text of common
and general signs and symptoms but also enables us to understand and use the language of
experts from all the fields of medical and surgical fraternity.
The so called red line symptoms or peculiar ones which are used to differentiate a remedy
from all the others, are given in simplified language in each remedy. These will be used as a
key to find out the similimum remedy. The knowledge of peculiar and keynote symptoms of
each remedy, sources of the remedies and their miasmatic affection is known to be essential
tool to find the exact similimum. Therefore, each remedy is analyzed and separated into four
parts.
The first and most important part is the keynotes including rare, peculiar and ‘exclusiveremedy-
symptoms’, which brand it entirely different from any other remedy.
The second one is therapeutics, based on so called modern medical terminology covered by
each remedy.
The third one is knowledge of sources of remedies, which may guide the user in group wise
study of medicines or ascertaining the posology.
The last one is miasmatic analysis of each remedy, which will be a tool to the philosophical
analysis as per organon.
At the end of every remedy symptoms, I have given a table of differential diagnoses of the
spectrum of diseases covered by that particular remedy as well as investigations required to
confirm the diagnosis along with explanation of the tests needed.
In the last chapters of the book, list of remedy names along with their abbreviations, provers
and miasmatic prevalence are provided. This will be helpful in diagnosing the under-running
miasms in various remedies.
The repertory of diagnostic terms will help the fresher as well as busy physicians to ascertain
efficacy of Homoeopathy with universal medical terminology.
The summary of remedy-pictures in diagnostic terms will definitely be helpful in acute
emergencies, spot prescriptions, in case of rush in clinics and in advanced pathologies with
lack of symptoms.
Every Homoeopath must be acquainted with all these points to ensure the cure, even in the
cases inappropriately termed as incurable.
